Alison is an executive leader who has strategically steered multinational financial institutions to achieve innovative compliance risk management solutions. She is recognized as a domestic and international expert in financial crime compliance by governments around the world.
Alison served as the Global Head of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance at Citigroup. Under her leadership of 6,000 people across 97 countries, she elevated Citi’s reputation with regulators and reengineered Citi’s AML Compliance program through building highly skilled and diverse talent, advancing regulatory reform and implementing industry-leading, innovative technologies to proactively identify risks..
Alison is also an independent director of the board of Sigma Ratings (“Sigma”), a leading AI-driven risk intelligence platform used by global organizations to fight financial crime and make more informed counterparty risk decisions. She continues to be active in the public policy arena, including contributing to research by the Royal United Services Institute’s Centre for Financial Crime and Security Studies, contributing to advocacy led by the Global Coalition to Fight Financial Crime, and other efforts to improve effectiveness.
Alison’s broad experience in fighting financial crime and leading compliance with regulations in many jurisdictions brings to Duality global operational expertise based on driving significant business growth and large-scale transformation using artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. As an advisor, Alison will help drive Duality’s mission to ease regulatory compliance for enterprises across any industry and use Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs) to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness in fighting global financial crime.
