We are pleased to introduce our advisory board, which is composed of industry leaders and scientific experts in fields such as financial services, regulatory policy and compliance, machine learning, ethics, anti-financial crime and enterprise software and healthcare AI. By joining our advisory board, each member has chosen to contribute to Duality’s  mission of enabling privacy-preserving collaborations on sensitive data.

Daniel J. Weitzner

Daniel J. Weitzner

Founding Director of the MIT Internet Policy Research Initiative, and 3Com Founders Principal Research Scientist at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). He is founder of the Center for Democracy and Technology, led the World Wide Web Consortium’s public policy activities, and was Deputy Policy Director of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Weitzner served as the United States Deputy Chief Technology Officer for Internet Policy in the White House under the Obama administration.

Suchi Saria

John C. Malone Associate Professor of Computer Science, Statistics and Public Health at Johns Hopkins University and the Founder and CEO of Bayesian Health. Saria’s work has pioneered the use of statistical machine learning to design novel software-based diagnostic and treatment planning tools across a number of challenging disease areas in healthcare.

Healthcare is beginning to use machine learning to drive decisions across the spectrum, but in healthcare, protecting patient privacy is crucial. I am delighted to be part of the Duality team. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Engineering.
